This is a must-do event at the National Specialty.

The Terv 2 Miler is a team of one human and one dog out to have a relaxing start to your day. This is not a timed event, enjoy the journey. Your leash can be no longer than 6, additional dogs are welcome to tag along. Terv 2 Miler t-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register and purchase them in advance. Water and treats will be available at the end of the “course” for both dogs and humans.

The Details:

  • Each team consists of one human and one dog, connected by a leash no longer than 6 feet. Additional dogs are welcome to tag along, but only one dog can be the designated teammate.
  • We have two custom Terv 2-Miler t-shirts designed just for this event. Order your shirt now, and it will be sent out directly to you. 
  • Whether you run or walk, this is not a timed event. All family members—human and canine—are welcome to enjoy the journey at their own pace.
  • At the finish line, celebrate with treats and water for both humans and their four-legged friends.
  • Awards will be given, but what they’re for is part of the fun! Bring your sense of humor and curiosity.
