This is a must-do event at the National Specialty.

The Terv 2 Miler is a team of one human and one dog out to have a relaxing start to your day. This is not a timed event, enjoy the journey. Your leash can be no longer than 6, additional dogs are welcome to tag along. Terv 2 Miler t-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register in advance. Water and treats will be available at the end of the “course” for both dogs and humans.

The Details:

  • Each team consists of one human and one dog, connected by a leash no longer than 6 feet. Additional dogs are welcome to tag along, but only one dog can be the designated teammate.
  • We have two custom Terv 2-Miler t-shirts designed just for this event. Order your shirt now, and it will be sent out directly to you. 
  • Whether you run or walk, this is not a timed event. All family members—human and canine—are welcome to enjoy the journey at their own pace.
  • At the finish line, celebrate with treats and water for both humans and their four-legged friends.
  • Awards will be given, but what they’re for is part of the fun! Bring your sense of humor and curiosity.
